The 7th Annual Hair Fair opens today with hundreds of new designs for both men and women. I always enjoy going to these types of events not only to see what my favorite designers have placed out but also to discover new (or unheard of to me) designers. I found quite a few participating in this year’s collection that will be added to my ‘frequent places to shop’ list.
This event also helps raise money for a very worthy charity called Wigs for Kids. This organization’s mission is to provide wigs to children who have lost their hair (i.e., via chemotherapy) in an effort to help them feel ‘normal’ and to feel better about themselves. The percentage of each purchase that will be donated to Wigs for Kids is listed in each store.
There is a Hair Fair group in SL where designers will be sending out demos of their hair for you to try BEFORE you go! It will save you loads of time, especially since you will be able to match the demos to the pics in this post to see which ones you even want to bother trying on!
